Mike Mills Admitted To Arizona State Bar

Arizona State BarThe Arizona Strip is nothing like the Las Vegas Strip!

The world knows the Las Vegas Strip as a place of glamour and glitz.  In contrast, few even know of the Arizona Strip or how important it is to transportation in the U.S.

The Arizona Strip is found in the northwest corner of Arizona.  It is that small piece of Arizona that is north of the Grand Canyon but south of Utah and East of Nevada.  Anyone who drives the I-15 knows the Arizona Strip as the 30 miles of road that takes you from Mesquite, Nevada through Arizona, to St. George, Utah.

And what an amazing 30 mile ride it is.  It passes through the Virgin River Gorge and other spectacular scenery of the American Southwest.

However, the Arizona Strip is only one of many spots in Arizona that are much closer to Las Vegas than they are to the Arizona’s big cities, Phoenix and Tucson.  For example, Kingman and Bullhead City are about 1 hour 30 minutes from Las Vegas.  However, they are three and three and a half hours respectively from Phoenix and even further from Tucson.  In fact, Las Vegas is just a smidge closer to Page, Arizona than is Phoenix.

Because of that proximity, my trucking clients would often consult with me about accidents that happened in Northern Arizona.  But then, when the litigation would start I would be relegated to a secondary role on the case because I wasn’t licensed.  I also knew that as Interstate 11 became a reality, vehicle traffic and the need for good Arizona attorneys available near Northern Arizona will only increase.

So I decided it was time to do something about my bar licensing issue.  I took the steps necessary to obtain my license to practice law in Arizona. I retook the Multi-State Professional Responsibility Examination because my test scores were too old.  Luckily I was able to be admitted on motion to the Nevada Supreme Court.  I now wish I had taken these steps years ago.

Just this week, the Arizona Bar notified me that it approved my application.  Now I am honored to say that I am licensed in Arizona, Nevada and Utah.  When an Arizona assignment comes to me, I will be glad to handle it from beginning to end.

If you need a rapid response for an accident happening on the Arizona Strip or anywhere else in Arizona, contact Mike Mills at 702-240-6060 and he will be glad to speak with you.
